Dear Main Street Alliance Community,

I hope this letter finds you well. I'm writing to share some important news. After a fulfilling and inspiring journey as MSA’s Executive Director, I've made the heartfelt decision to transition into a new chapter of my life, one that allows me to spend more cherished time with my family.

This decision was by no means an easy one. Leading Main Street Alliance has been a profound and invigorating experience, one I embarked upon with an unwavering commitment to the success of small businesses and the flourishing of our communities. Together, we've navigated uncharted waters, sparked important conversations, and achieved remarkable milestones that I am immensely proud of.

From the very beginning, my vision for Main Street Alliance was clear - to organize small business owners in a shared mission that transcends mere mobilization. It's about forging a tightly knit community where local entrepreneurs can collaborate, influence policy matters, and drive tangible, meaningful change. Inspired by the thriving small businesses I grew up with, I was driven to ensure that organized small business owners became formidable advocates, not just for their businesses but for the entire workforce.

Our journey has been marked by challenges that tested our resolve, from disparate tax incentives favoring large corporations to fighting for paid leave nationwide. But together, we've remained steadfast in our commitment to leveling the playing field for small businesses, preserving the diversity and vibrancy of our local communities, and advocating tirelessly for policies that uplift small businesses.

As I step into this new phase of my life, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible work we've accomplished during my time as Executive Director. Together, we've initiated critical conversations, lobbied for change, and achieved milestones that have left an indelible mark on the landscape we are so deeply passionate about.

While this transition is bittersweet, it is not a farewell but a see-you-later. I leave with unwavering confidence in the extraordinary potential that resides within this organization and in each one of you. Main Street Alliance will continue to thrive, creating a lasting impact and shaping a brighter future for small businesses and
our communities.
