Small Biz COVID ACTION ALERT - Small Biz Need Grants Not Loans

Members of Congress are debating what is in the stimulus package for small business this week! We have an urgent action alert for you!

What’s The Update:

The Senate and House have competing economic stimulus plans. One, from Senate Republicans is all loans for small businesses ($300 Billion), and even more loans and no accountability for corporations. The other, from House Democrats, gets closer to what we need with over $500 Billion in a combination of grants and forgivable loans, but is nowhere near big enough. Politico has a good breakdown.

What We’re Fighting For:

Small businesses need grants, not loans to get through this crisis. Loans will mean more layoffs, as small businesses can’t afford to take on any debt. To Keep Main Street Working we need to get as loud as possible on #GrantsNotLoans.
